Mona's Roti Select menu

Let me put you onto Mona's Roti Select, a Caribbean restaurant that locals in Pickering quietly rave about and visitors are always glad they stumbled into. Tucked along Kingston Road at 607 Kingston Rd, Pickering, ON L1V 3N7, Canada, this spot feels like a friendly neighborhood kitchen where bold island flavors do the talking. The menu leans into Caribbean comfort classics, especially roti that’s packed generously, wrapped tight, and seasoned with confidence. Every bite balances warmth, spice, and that slow-cooked depth that tells you the food is made with care rather than shortcuts. What I like most is how approachable the place feels; whether you’re grabbing a quick bite on a busy day or ordering in for a relaxed night at home, Mona's Roti Select keeps things simple and satisfying. They offer kerbside pickup, delivery, and takeaway, which makes it easy to enjoy your favorites without planning your whole day around it. The kitchen also caters to different lifestyles without making a big fuss about it, serving halal food alongside solid vegan and vegetarian options that don’t feel like afterthoughts. That flexibility is a big reason the restaurant works for groups where everyone wants something different. It’s also a place where first-timers feel comfortable asking questions, because the staff energy matches the food, relaxed, helpful, and focused on getting you exactly what you’re craving, whether that’s mild and comforting or bold with extra heat that lingers. The vibe stays casual and welcoming, the kind of place where you can show up hungry and leave happy, without overthinking the experience. From the aroma that hits you when you walk in to the steady stream of regulars who clearly know what they’re ordering, everything here points to consistency and flavor-first cooking. If you’re someone who enjoys Caribbean food that’s hearty, quick, and full of personality, this is the kind of spot you’ll want to keep in your regular rotation.
